Well it is St. Patrick's Day tomorrow and the gent in the plot next to me tells me that it is a tradition to put in your first spuds on St. Patricks day.
This year that is no problem. The soil is warming now and I would say the potatoes would be ok to go in.
Two years ago the ground was frozen a few inches down.... the climate is certainly changeable in this part of the world!
