Welcome to Allotment IrelandHi! My name is Richard and this site is dedicated to another 'sight' - my allotment in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. I have had an allotment for two years now, but I have been interested in growing and the natural world for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have tried keeping a variety of diaries. I am hoping that this one might last a while at least! It is an online diary that is as much for my own use and information as anybody else's, but you are very welcome to browse, read and comment.
My allotment is near Belfast in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is about half the size of a traditional plot. I hope to add regular news and photos, so if there is not much here today come back soon! The most regularly updated section is my blog.
